PyroDinos getting a little agitated

In this short video, PyroDinos (marine dinoflagellates) are agitated in a glass vase to produce natural light (bioluminescence). These PyroDinos are a type of phytoplankton (plant-like plankton) that can remove CO2 from their environment and produce oxygen. PyroDinos and the other phytoplankton in our oceans are responsible for most of the oxygen we breathe. More than all land plants combined.
