The Bio Orb recycles light

The Bio Orb recycles light.  The PyroDino dinoflagellates in the Bio Orb absorb light during the day and give it back at night in the form of bioluminescence. 

During daytime hours the Bio Orb uses light via photosynthesis to store energy.  At night when gently swirled the Bio Orb produces natural light via a biological process.    To learn more read about our PyroDino dinoflagellates.
