Bioluminescent Bloom In San Diego

Bioluminescent Bloom In San Diego

There has been a huge bioluminescent algae bloom at our local beaches.  Here are some photos and video from last night (February 27th, 2022).  These images and video were taken at North Ponto Beach, Carlsbad California also known as South Carlsbad State Beach.

(just in case)... The pouring of PyroDinos onto the beach and into the ocean had nothing to do with the algae bloom.  If we could cause it then we would do this all the time.

You probably heard it from someone, Seventy-one percent of the Earth's surface is covered by water and over 95% of Earth's water is in its oceans.  But did you know that over 70% of the oxygen we breathe comes from the oceans?  Yes, primarily from tiny plant-plankton called phytoplankton.  These phytoplankton are producing most of the air you are inhaling right now.

PyroFarms grows and sells bioluminescent phytoplankton, plankton that can produce light at night and fresh oxygen during the daytime.  We sell phytoplankton that we call PyroDinos.  PyroDinos use sunlight to grow (like a plant) and produce a brilliant blue light at night called bioluminescence.

The Bioluminescent Bio-Orb offers a complete system to grow PyroDinos.   The Bio-Orb is a glass sphere with a flat bottom and a specially designed stopper to allow air exchange but prevents excessive evaporation.  The Bio-Orb provides the ideal environment for growing PyroDinos at home in the office or school.

PyroDinos also remove the greenhouse gas CO2 from your environment, getting you closer to carbon neutral.  PyroDinos with the oceans' phytoplankton remove more CO2 than all land plants combined, thus making them our number one ally for fighting climate change.
